Neasa’s specialist interest is in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She believes physical screening is pivotal for individuals for the prevention of injury/ symptoms and feels this is an area whereby physios are under used. In an area of physio, where there are many “placebo” approaches, Neasa strives to apply scientifically proven assessment and treatment strategies.
Neasa also has specialist knowledge in prescribing exercise and activity programs to “Specialist Populations” e.g. diabetics, during pregnancy, those with cardiac conditions.
Neasa likes to embrace the ever-increasing role of education in Physiotherapy. She has experience lecturing in the University of Limerick (2010-2012 and as visiting lecturer 2022). She has presented at G.P and nurse conferences and to various corporate work groups.
